About Tiffany

Dr. Tiffany grew up outside Philadelphia in Kennett Square, PA (the famed mushroom capitol of the world!) and earned her undergraduate degree with high honors at Messiah College. She then attended The Medical School for International Health at Ben-Gurion University in Beer Sheva, Israel, where she studied medicine as well as cross-cultural medical care, with emphasis on international and resource-poor settings.

Afterwards, she completed residency in general surgery at Waterbury Hospital, and then trained in advanced minimally invasive thoracic surgery at Fox Chase Cancer Center, affiliated with Temple University.

Simultaneously, Dr. Tiffany had 3 children, 2 with significant special needs. The tension of significant pressures, obligations, risks, responsibilities, failures, and crises led her to grapple with the most basic questions of "What makes a good life?" and "What makes one happy or successful?" Dr. Tiffany continues to practice thoracic and general surgery in the Philadelphia area, while eager to pass on the life-giving lessons she has earned through challenges and trauma.

Tiffany's Talks

TALK ONE

Not ruined: learn to take a different perspective on life's most difficult blows.

All of us have those things that we think of that if those things were to happen, our life would be ruined. Is it true? I think that we need to change the paradigm, flip the script, rewrite the narrative about the hard things that happen.

This talk will help reframe your paradigm to come through life better, bolder, and more contented despite the inevitable challenges.

There is a very distinct moment in one’s life when you feel moved by something you hear, especially if what was said leaves an impression in your heart. That was the case for me when I heard Dr. Tiffany Schatz speak in one of our events. Her story was truly inspirational and resonated with me. It is difficult to remain standing when life throws many challenges your way. However, Tiffany has proven that, amidst many adversities, giving up was not an option. Her courage to move forward while faced with life’s difficult trials encouraged me as I am sure it would encourage any other woman. Tiffany is such a resilient woman, wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Her strength, wisdom, faith, and peaceful spirit make such a deep impact on the lives she touches.
